A Family-Owned Winery

A small family business with love and respect to the tradition , based on the excellent climate of the region , created an excellent product promoting our special Greek cultural heritage.

The soil which surrounds Volcania vineyards can be considered to be one of a kind. The soil was formed by the volcanic eruption in Nisyros about a thousand years ago. It is enriched with valuable minerals such as potassium and phosphorus, which in turn benefit the vines providing the wines with many unique attributes.

Air, composed of oxygen and nitrogen, serves as an invaluable tool in shaping the intricate flavors, aromas, and overall quality of wines. From vineyard to bottle, the controlled interaction of air with grapevines, fermentation processes, and aging phases brings forth a symphony of benefits that elevate the art of winemaking to new heights.
